Community Service
Our organizations founders realized within the first year of business that charitable resources were detrimental to residents of the Virginia, Peninsula. Often times disabled citizens find themselves incapable to bear the burden of costly medical assistance services, such as personal care. There remains some options to offset the balance of these services but may be of little to no effect for those who simply cannot afford the services. On November 14, 2005 our Board of Directors decided to dissolve our current agency to form a charitable 501(c) 3-tax exempt organization.
In conjunction with nursing services our agency offers nutrition and medication assistance programs free of charge for qualified recipients. Agency employees and volunteers deliver fresh produce, household items and other essential items on a weekly basis. Case managers assist clients in obtaining discounted medications with consent of their primary physicians and other care professionals. These services are made available through your contributions and proceeds from services that we offer.
